I am an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Singapore Management University (SMU).
My research applies a demand-side perspective to competitive strategy and entrepreneurship. I explore two interrelated areas: how demand-side shocks shape firm strategic choices, such as scope, and how demand-side mechanisms enable entrepreneurial ventures to create competitive advantage. By emphasizing the role of customers and markets, my work complements the traditional resource-based view.

My work has been published in Strategic Management Journal, Management Science, and MIT Sloan Management Review, featured in media outlets such as Business Insider, and received several international awards.

I hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Bocconi University, along with a master’s in Industrial Management and a bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering.
