Teaching
I am committed to a pedagogical approach that encourages students to actively use the knowledge they acquire to solve practical problems they find challenging or interesting. All the courses I have designed are in a highly interactive format based on case discussions, in-class assignments, and group projects, to facilitate the application of theory to practice. Even in core courses such as strategy, students appreciate my teaching approach and have indicated that the lessons were much more engaging than what they expected.
As an educator, I am dedicated in fostering an inclusive and diverse environment within my classroom. The feedback I received from students on my teaching style has been reassuring. A student from the Core Strategic Management Course (undergrad) noted “She has encouraged me to be confident in my answers in class, creating a safe space to have fruitful discussions and share ideas”. Another student mentioned “Professors like her are so hard to come by! She encourages everyone during class participation and is very open about different views which really reassures students, creating a very safe space to speak their minds.”
I taught a wide variety of courses at different levels in several institutions and countries: NUS (Singapore), WU Vienna (Austria), and Bocconi (Italy).
